Former Lang Lang Jetty recently
demolished due to lack of funding for repair/development.

After World War II, several boat houses were built, along
with a Saltwater Low-Tide Swimming Pool.
A local told us that with the sloping walls of the pool, it
made it difficult to get out of the pool quickly and local
fishermen would sometimes throw Gummy Sharks in for laughs.
The pool was victim to loss of sea grass, destroying much of
the area.
At GZ, you will be standing at the only real bit of the
swimming pool left, but you will see the depression and the
boundaries of the former pool. This is a great place to
bring a ball, or a fishing pole.
Any other information or pictures you have of the area would
be greatly appreciated.
